Sugar Mountain plays the backroom stage starting at 6:30 P.M.

As the name might suggest, Sugar Mountain started as an acoustic trio focussing on the Neil Young songbook. It has evolved into a group with a repertoire that covers everything from Bob Dylan and the Band to even an occasional Beatles or Led Zeppelin song. And you’ll hear songwriters like Stevie Nicks, Nick Lowe, and Gram Parsons in their sets. Sugar Mountain is Bethany Sorkey (Good Old Persons) on bass and vocals, Paul Kotapish (Hillbillies from Mars, Wake the Dead) on mandolin and vocals, and Joe Cadora (The Quarry Persons) on guitar and vocals.
